Dear Omar,

I am very happy to receive your letter. Hope you are well. You wanted to know about the prize-giving ceremony at our school. Now I am going to tell about it.

Yesterday was our school prize giving day. On this occasion, our school auditorium and its dais were nicely decorated. Prizes were also nicely decorated on a separate table on the dais.

All the students were present. Among others, the guardians and some eminent persons attended the function. The UNO of Kaptai Upazila was the chief guest.

It started on time just at 10 a.m. At first, our Headmaster read out the annual report. Then the chief guest gave a short speech. He praised the achievement of our school and the brilliant result of its J.S.C. and S.S.C. exam.

Then he gave away the prizes among the students for their unique performance. I have got two prizes – one for well result in the last annual exam and the other to get first place in the debate competition.

At last, the Headmaster announced the end of the function.
